I knew Engela through my classmate who attended her tuition since sec3. But that time it was quite late for me as there was left with 3 months before my O level exam. I had strong determination that I wanted to get an A for my pure chemistry. Teacher Engela helped me to plan the study table and exam strategy towards this direction. She followed up closely with my progress and we fine tuned our plan from time to time. We put in lots of efforts and time together to keep on learning the weakest chapters/ topics that I was not sure. At last, I finally scored A2 in O level! At least our efforts were not in in vain. Yeah!

Before I enrolled into the class, my prior understanding of Physics was very poor. I had no interest in physics at all as it was a boring subject to me. Furthermore, I had encountered much trouble grasping some fundamental concepts especially the calculation part. However, after attending Engela’s class, I found her teaching method and materials really useful. What impressed me was her ability of coming up with simple method for me so that I would be able to relate to it and remember the concepts more easily! It certainly helped me to enhance my memory even without revision. Additionally, lots of past school practice papers were provided to me which helped me to familiarize myself with the possible questions that could come out for the O levels. After much guidance from her, I managed to get my distinction. Enrolling into this class is certainly something that I won’t regret, because Physics is no longer a boring subject to me. In fact, I were inspired to take Physics in JC in future.
